  9. What should you never use in place of the parking brake on a transit bus?
    The brake-door interlock
    The interlock holds the bus while the rear door is open, but it releases when the door closes. Always set the parking brake.
  10. Where should baggage and freight be stored on a bus?
    Secured so the driver and passengers can move freely and exits aren't blocked
    Aisles and exits must stay clear, and loose items can fly forward in a sudden stop.

    At intersections

  16. Why do buses often crash on curves?
    Too much speed, especially in rain or snow
    Buses can skid or roll over on curves taken too fast. The posted speed may be too fast for a bus.

    No, avoid distracting conversations while driving
    Talking with riders takes your attention off the road.

    Watch for common hazardous items like car batteries and gasoline, which riders may not realize are dangerous.
